Application Deadline: 07/01/2020
Salary: £22,212 - £26,539 (pro rata)
Contract type: Fixed term to 31 March 2023
We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring practitioner to coordinate and deliver a range of exciting programmes in partnership with music, arts and creative providers across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
The post holder will sit within our new Community Partnerships Team; a team focussed on offering young people opportunities to improve their wellbeing through connecting to each other, their communities and the things that make them feel good and they enjoy.
The successful candidate will be energetic and inspiring with a strong knowledge of and personal practice within the arts as well as considerable experience working with young people and mental health. You will be able to critically engage with issues relating to mental health; understanding it within a social and political context and developing programmes that respond accordingly.
You will be excellent at building working relationships with other providers and will be able to create and deliver engaging and thoughtful workshops for groups of young people from disadvantaged and ‘hard to reach’ backgrounds.
This is an exciting opportunity to fill a new position at OTR, and the post holder will have the chance to develop this roll from scratch; using their skills, knowledge and abilities to create a new and pioneering service within a youth mental health setting.
