We are seeking a unique, creative and inspiring individual to join the management team at OTR. As the Team Manager for Health Promotion you will be the central force in driving our message forward both internally and externally. To achieve this you will be an exceptional communicator with a firm commitment to social justice and young people’s autonomy and rights.
In your role, you will focus on ensuring OTR continues to mobilize young people to act, use their strengths and challenge systems and behaviours that stand in opposition to their mental health and wellbeing. You will ensure that your work and the work of those around you in centred within a socio-political context and is fully aligned with OTR’s vision and philosophy.
As team manager you will lead the work of our Resilience Lab and Mentality Projects and deliver robust training both in-house and to external partners. You will demonstrate an excellent knowledge of young people and the wider influences that impact mental health as well as the ability to think creatively and challenge ‘normal’ approaches and thinking related to this field of work.
You will be a capable relationship builder, able to work collaboratively with a wide range of people, and will use your position to challenge the status quo and to think critically about how services are and should be delivered.
This role exists to keep us asking questions, and the successful candidate will be expected to do just that!
