Fempowerment is a one day workshop for people aged 15-25 to celebrate feminism and empower girls, women and femme people (non-binary and trans inclusive). Looking at gender, consent, body image, rights. Expect discussions, activities, exchanging ideas and experiences.
This workshop aims to support young people aged 15-25 to understand their rights and choices, overcome barriers and empower them to make change for themselves, their community and the world. We’ll explore: the history of feminism, gender and stereotypes, consent, self-esteem and body image.
You can expect a day of discussions, creative activities and a safe space to exchange ideas. Come and join us for a day of inspiring, empowering and celebrating women, girls, non-binary people and trans people!

Meet the Team
The Fempowerment team are Antonia (she/her), Ceridwen (she/her) and Marie (they/she) from the OTR Wellbeing Practitioner Team, who deliver 1:1 and group Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to young people, and Faith (she/her) from the OTR Membership Team, who has many years experience of working to support and empower young people.
The facilitators will lead activities and support discussions. There will also be the option to talk to the facilitators away from the group to discuss anything that might have come up throughout the day and find out about further support.
This workshop is run in collaboration with Tiger co-op Bristol.
