HUBS from OTR – drop-in and learn more!

Hey! Over the summer we’ve been hosting ‘OTR Hubs’ – sessions where you can drop-in and find out loads of useful stuff around mental health and what OTR does.

We’re really pleased that these have been so successful and managed to speak to loads of you in the past few weeks.

Now, we’ve listened to your feedback and are delighted to be offering MORE HUBS!

These ‘one-stop shop’ Hubs for young people’s mental health will now take place as follows:

MONDAYS 4-7pm

SATURDAYS 10am-1pm

at 8-10 West Street, Old Market

and

THURSDAYS 3.30-5.30pm

at the Armadillo, Yate

In addition to mental health info and support, our Saturday Hubs will feature an OTR ‘Help Desk‘ – an area for young people who need some more practical help with issues such as finding a job, filling in forms for benefits or helping with UCAS applications.

Come along to find out more about mental health – how to look after yourself, tips and tricks to de-stress, and any information you might need about difficult thoughts and feelings.

We’re providing a nice, laid-back environment with tea, biscuits (all that good stuff), where you can chat to people who really know what they’re talking about when it comes to mental health.

You can find out more about mental health and the services OTR offers – you can even sign up a project or group at OTR if you like.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Take part in our Creative Drop-In (taking some time out to be creative with art materials).
  • Hang out with our Peer Navigators (friendly people who will chat to you about whatever’s on your mind).
  • Speak to someone one-to-one if you are struggling.

If you have any questions about the cool stuff we have planned – ask on our FacebookTwitter or give us a buzz for free on 0808 808 9120 Mon-Fri 2-5pm.
