Summer Holidays at OTR! Come and join us for a range of Nature and Arts based activities throughout the Summer Holidays. OTR will be running 3 weeks of cooking, Art and Nature based activities for 11-14 and 14-18 year olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What can you expect on a day?

We will meet together at 10am to check in and say hello. We will then have some time to engage in some Nature and Art based activities. These will include activities such as planting and decorating pots, flower printing, nettle cordage, cyanotype, clay, printing etc.. You will also be welcome to join our cooking team to cook up a lunch for us all to share together, before heading home at 1pm!

Who is this session for?

Tuesdays – anyone ages 11-14 year olds who lives in Bristol or South Gloucestershire.

Thursdays – anyone ages 14-18 year olds who lives in Bristol or South Gloucestershire.

The group will be a maximum of 15 young people.

Access Info

These sessions will run from our base at West Street (Old Market), from 10am-1pm. The building has a lift to an accessible toilet and a door at street level. We recognise it is not the most accessible building, but all activities will be in areas accessible to wheelchairs, and stairs have handrails. We understand the need for quiet areas within our sessions and will ensure there is a dedicated quiet space throughout the day. All food we cook will be vegetarian, with vegan and gluten free options available if required. We are able to ensure there is a quiet prayer / reflection space available throughout the day.

For all other questions regarding the accessibility of this project, please do contact us directly: martha@otrbristol.org.uk

Some activities you could expect:

Art inspired by nature and nature connection via art! There will be a variety of activities on offer, all of which are optional, with plenty of opportunity to chat and connect with other young people. At each session there will be different activities available such as cyanotypes, clay modelling, planting, decorating pots, monotype printing, needle felting and more.
